Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach

The Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach is one of Phuket's newest creations. Opened in November 2009 it has set a new benchmark in family orientated resorts. The resort prides itself on being a fully contained family resort with its own restaurants, entertainment programs and a host of activities for all ages. The resort includes all the fun, adventure, and luxury that families want most, elevating the family vacation to world-class standards on unspoiled Kamala Beach, a serene location and offering great value. All the rooms are set around a huge central area that features 7 sparkling swimming pools with the majority have views over these and the surrounding gardens. Every room can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 kids in spacious, modern surroundings and each also has a wide balcony or terrace. For your convenience each room also has a micro-wave oven to heat quick snacks or warm drinks. The resort has its own Minimart which sells a good range of snack foods, bread and cold cuts. Larger families are also well catered to with the specially designed 2 bedroom Family Suite. These can sleep families of up to 6 people and have a second bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Great for the kids and your own privacy! Families with little tots are also not forgotten,. The resort has 24 happy Baby Studio rooms that have everything you need to ensure your babes are happy and safe, plus these offer the convenience of high- chairs, stroller, kid's cutlery, non slip mats in the bathroom and baby bouncer. The rooms is unique as it has a small grassed play area at the front of the room all enclosed with fence and lockable gate.

For adults and older families there are wonderful Royal Studio Pool Access rooms that offer better amenities and bedding and the luxury of being about to drop straight into the pool from your private terrace.

Although the resort is predominantly designed for the family it also caters well to couples with its Royal Studio Rooms or the Deluxe Beachfront rooms. These are set right on the beach and offer more privacy and beautiful views over kamala Beach and the bay.

Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach - genuinely warm and intimately inviting, this laid-back hideaway will inspire you to do it all or nothing at all. Location

The resort is located directly on the white sand beach of the Kamala Bay next to Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, on the west side of Phuket Island.

The resort is easily accessible from Phuket Airport and other tourist destinations being only a 10 minute walk to Phuket Fantasea or Kamala Village, or 10 minutes drive to Patong in the resort's shuttle service or taxi, 15 minutes drive to Laguna Phuket Golf Course or 25 minutes drive to Loch Palm Golf Club & Red Mountain Golf Course and only 35 minutes drive to Phuket International Airport .

No matter the size, shape or configuration of your family, from a compact party of two to an entire tribe of loved ones, over 289 studios and family suites of Sunwing Resort Kamala Beach will ensure the utmost comfort and luxury for one and all.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, hot & cold water, shower, full amenities, satellite TV, movie channel, hair dryer, big-sized fridge, working desk, sofabed, safety box, coffee/tea making facilities, microwave, light kitchen equipment but no stove, bathrobes, Internet connection data port and private oversized balcony or terrace overlooking the fragrant gardens or pools or aquamarine Andaman Sea.

Studio - The most common category with combined living room and bedroom offering a very spacious and comfortable 44 - 55 sq.m. Each room is ideally designed for a family and has the added benefit of a microwave oven for those quick snacks for the kids. All rooms have a balcony and face the huge free form swimming pools that form the central focus of the resort. Bathrooms feature shower only.

Deluxe (Beachfront) These rooms are located by the beach and enjoy delightful sea views. Each has a spacious balcony overlooking Kamala Bay and has easy access to nearby Kamala Village and its shops and restaurants. Bathrooms feature shower only. Ideal for couples and honeymooners.

Happy Baby Studio Specially equipped rooms for families with babies. The rooms are always at ground level with an enclosed terrace with a gate that can be locked. Additional amenities include: cot/crib, a high-chair, a stroller, a Bumbo baby-sitter, a parasol, sun chairs, children's crockery and cutlery, plastic Polly stool in the bathroom, non-slippery carpet in shower and nursing mat. The room size is 44 sq. m. Bathrooms feature shower only.

ROYAL POOL ACCESS STUDIO The rooms are located on ground floor with private access to the pool and are equipped with Dux bed mattress, toaster, a lovely rain shower, two sun chairs on the terrace, cosmetic mirror and iron & iron board in-room. Bathrooms feature shower only. The rooms have bathrobes for the whole family. On arrival a fruit basket, snacks, wine, beer, water and soft drinks will be waiting. The room size is 44 sq. m.

FAMILY SUITE are a two (2) bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms suitable for medium-sized families of up to a maximum of 6 people, the size ranging from 60sqm to 80sqm depending on the design. Each room is a combination of a Studio room with and extra bedroom attached from the living area. Bathrooms feature shower only. This extra room has its own bathroom and is ideal for the kids.

Family Offers

Infants and toddlers ages 0 to 2 years inclusive are provided complimentary cots. 3 to 11 years inclusive classified as children and can fit in all rooms.

A child 12 to 17 years inclusive is classified as Teens for the Family suite category.

Kids aged 3-11 years eat FREE when dining with adults (one child per adult) and can choose from the children's Lollo & Bernie menu only, additional children must be charged for breakfast

For the Littlies ask about a Bambino Package

Guests can pre-book a High Chair, Stroller, Cot at an additional of approx THB1200 per week payable direct to the hotel only.
